This integrated design not only significantly improves working efficiency but also reduces the number of devices that technicians need to carry and operate, thereby streamlining the entire workflow for greater simplicity and productivity. The device is particularly well-suited for tackling immobilizer system issues on European vehicle models.



Immobilizer Cloning and Key Programming Software:

The X431 G5 can be used with the X431 Tablets: PAD V ELITE, PAD VII ELITE, PAD IX, PRO3 V+ ELITE/ PRO3S+ ELITE, IMMO Plus, IMMO Elite, CRP919X/E BT etc

ECU Cloning PC Tool: Performs reading, writing, and cloning of engine and transmission ECUs via computer. With built-in PC software.
IMMO PROG (Tablet): Enables reading, writing, and cloning of engine and transmission ECUs through the tablet device.
Key Programmer: Reads key data, generates new keys, and unlocks existing keys.
European Vehicle Immobilizer Functions: Supports key matching, immobilizer module erasing/rewriting, and immobilizer module replacement.

In addition to its core functions, the G5 Immobilizer Programmer continuously receives firmware and software updates to introduce new features, keeping pace with the rapid evolution of automotive technology. Recent additions include:

Advanced VAG (VW/Audi) Immobilizer & Dashboard Support

  • Newer Dashboard Architectures: X-PROG5 fully supports data reading, parsing, and cloning for advanced VW V850 and RH850 series instrument clusters, whereas X-PROG3 has highly limited or incomplete coverage.
  • MQB Platform Upgrades: XPROG5 fully handles MQB 5C/5D key matching and supports advanced MQB Mechanical/Smart key All Keys Lost (AKL) scenarios (including reading, writing, and parsing engine/gearbox data types). XPROG3 does not support or has very weak coverage for these.
  • SIMOS Engine Cloning: XPROG5 natively supports cloning the complex SIMOS18 engine series, which is completely unsupported by XPROG3.
Deep Mercedes-Benz FBS4 & Advanced FBS3 Coverage
  • FBS4 Architecture Dominance: While both tools can handle basic engine and gearbox adaptations, X-PROG5 uniquely supports cloning Mercedes FDCT, VGS4 NAG2, and VGS NAG3 gearboxes (FBS4), as well as DSM (FBS4) X-PROG3 cannot perform these operations.
  • Gateway-Free FBS3 Password Calculation: For older Mercedes vehicles (W164, W169, W209, W211) in an All Keys Lost (AKL) situation, XPROG5 can calculate passwords using a gateway-free method, a convenient feature completely unsupported by XPROG3.
  • EIS/EZS Module Repair: XPROG5 supports a much wider range of Mercedes electronic ignition switch (EIS) cloning compared to XPROG3’s partial support.
  • Expanded Specialized Hardware Functions
  • BMS Chip Support: X-PROG5 introduces dedicated Battery Management System (BMS) chip reading and writing, which is completely missing on X431 X-PROG3 programmer.
  • Transponder Cloning: XPROG5 can independently clone ID48/96 and ID46 key transponders, a function unsupported by XPROG3 hardware.
  • BMW Alignment & Reading: XPROG5 features full stability when reading BMW Engine ISN codes, whereas X-PROG3 provides limited reliability or support on newer engines.
