Program LAUNCH Sensors

There are 4 options available for programming: Auto Create, Manual Create, Copy ID by Activation and Create Multi-sensor.

Program Multi-Sensor: This allows users to program multiple sensors simultaneously. Up to 8 sensors can be programmed at the same time.

1. Auto Create: program the LAUNCH-sensor by applying random IDs created according to the test vehicle.

Step1: Select the wheel which needs to be programmed on the tool.

Step2: Place a LAUNCH-sensor close to the TPMS antenna of the tool.

Step3: Select CREATE SENSOR to create a new random sensor ID.

2. Manual input: Manually enter sensor ID. Users can enter the random ID or the original sensor ID if it is available.

Step1: Use the on-screen virtual keypad to input a random or original (if available) sensor ID.

Step2: Select the wheel which needs to be programmed on the tool, places a LAUNCH-sensor close to the TPMS antenna of the tool.

Step3: Start writing the new sensor ID to the LAUNCH sensor.

3. Copy ID by Activation: Write in the retrieved original sensor data to the LAUNCH-sensor. It is used after the original sensor is triggered.

Step1: Select the specific wheel position and press the button to trigger the original sensor.

Step2: Select the specific wheel position and press the OK button to create a sensor ID.

Step3: Start writing the new sensor ID to the LAUNCH sensor.

4. Copy by OBD :Use this LAUNCH TPMS service tool TSGUN to pull the old sensor ID stored in ECU, and write it directly into your LAUNCH RF-sensor.
 

Activate ALL Sensor

Launch relearn tool CRT5011X can activate all tire pressure sensors of 315MHz and 433MHz. After activating the sensors, you can view sensor data such as sensor ID, tire pressure, tire frequency, tire temperature, and battery condition.
For universal sensors, you just need to follow the below three steps to activate the sensors.
Step1: Place the tool alongside the valve stem
Step2: Point toward the sensor
Step3: Press the trigger button and the sensors will be activated for sensor information checking.
TPMS Diagnostic
In addition to activating replaced sensors, CRT5011X is also capable of diagnosing the tire pressure issues which includes reading and clearing TPMS-related DTCs, read live data, and resetting TPMS after repairs.
Vehicle Info
retrieve a list of information (provided by the vehicle manufacturer) from the vehicle’s onboard computer. The information includes VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), CID (Calibration ID), and CVN (Calibration Verification Number).
The programming function helps users to program the sensor data to the LAUNCH sensors (compatible with 98% of vehicles on the market) and replace faulty sensors. It allows 8 Launch tire pressure sensors to be programmed simultaneously, which generates a huge benefit for auto repair technicians.

Relearning for 99% of OEM Sensors

What’s Sensor Relearning?
Relearn is used to write the newly programmed sensor IDs into the vehicle’s ECU for sensor recognition. With just one click, the specific relearn procedure will be presented. It is a necessary step for tire or sensor replacement.
When Do We Need to Relearn the Sensor?
Relearn operation applies when the newly programmed sensor IDs are different from the original sensor IDs stored in the vehicle’s ECU. Normally, because the IDs of the original sensor and the new Launch sensor are the same and the ID is already recognized by the vehicle's ECU, there is no need to perform the relearn function when the new programmed sensor has been attached to the same wheel.
Relearning Procedure
Step1: Set the tire pressure according to the placard
Step2: Drive the vehicle for at least 10 minutes at least 15MPH
Step3: Sensors will be automatically registered
Note: This TPMS relearn tool supports three relearn methods (Automatic Relearn, Stationary Relearn, OBD Relearn), and the above is the automatic relearn procedure. If you have any other questions or concerns about the process, please check the manual.
Graphic Live Data
The live data can be view in graphic form. You can select the View Graphic Items in the data stream menu, and then the selected graphic items will display on the screen. With this function, you can better inspect and analyze the diagnosis problem.

TPMS Service
This function includes two modules: Relearn Procedure and Part Number Lookup.
Relearn Procedure: Relearn operation applies only when the newly programmed sensor IDs are different from the original sensor IDs stored in the vehicle’s ECU. Relearn is used to write the newly programmed sensor IDs into the vehicle’s ECU for sensor recognition.
Part number lookup: It allows you to check the OE number of the sensors.

Key Fob Test
Please note that this feature is only available when you have upgraded your TPMS tool to the latest version.

5 Modes to Program Launch LTR01 Sensors and Other Unencrypted Sensors
The Launch CRT5011E TPMS sensor programmer tool can program all Launch LTR01 sensors and Other Unencrypted Sensors, including 315MHz and 433MHz, to replace damaged sensors.

CRT5011E has 5 modes to program Launch LTR01 Sensors and Other Unencrypted Sensors:

Auto Create: This function is designed to program the LAUNCH-sensor by applying random IDs created according to the test vehicle when it is unable to obtain the original sensor ID. Select the wheel which needs to be programmed on the tool, place a LAUNCH-sensor close to the TPMS antenna of the tool, and select CREATE SENSOR to create a new random sensor ID.
Manual Create: This function allows users to manually enter sensor ID. Users can enter the random ID or the original sensor ID, if it is available.
Copy ID by activation: It can get tire pressure sensor ID when the tire sensor is working normally, you can write in the retrieved original sensor data to the LAUNCH-sensor. It is used after the original sensor is triggered.
Copy by OBD: Firstly, you need to perform a Read ID from Vehicle in the Relearn function, which reads the sensor ID from the vehicle ECU. It can be used if the sensor is damaged and the original ID is saved in the vehicle system. You can use it to get the old sensor ID stored in ECU, and write it directly into your LAUNCH RF-sensor.
Creat Multi-sensor 1-8: This function allows users to program multiple sensors simultaneously. Up to 8 sensors can be programmed at the same time.



Launch CRT5011E TPMS Tool can activate 315/433 MHz Sensors

TPMS Sensor Activate: 

Launch CRT5011E TPMS Diagnostic Tool allows users to activate TPMS sensor to view sensor data such as sensor ID, tire pressure, tire frequency, tire temperature, battery condition(voltage).
TPMS Relearn:

Stationary Relearn: Require the vehicle to be placed in the “Learn Mode”, follow the screen instruction to activate sensors, and perform stationary relearn.
OBDII Relearn: Allow the CRT5011E to directly write TPMS sensor IDs to the TPMS module via the OBD connector.
Auto Relearn: You can complete relearning by driving and refer to the on-screen Relearn Procedure for the exact details of the process.
Due to different car models, OBDII Relearn, Stationary Relearn, and Auto Relearn may not exist at the same time. Some models have all 3 relearn methods, but some models may only have one or two relearn methods.
Attention
1. LAUNCH CRT5011E TPMS Relearn Tool is specially designed to diagnose electronic control systems of 12V vehicles. Please note that it is NOT suitable for a six-wheeled dual-rear car.
2. For early magnet-activated sensors, place the magnet over the stem and then place the tool alongside the valve stem.
3. If the TPMS sensor requires tire deflation (of the order of 10PSI), then deflate the tire and place the tool alongside the stem while pressing the button.

!!! To activate/check/read the tire pressure sensor, please ensure that you have selected the correct car model, year and frequency of tpms sensor.
