Update instruction:
1. Our VCM Update includes software update and firmware update
2. Software update:
We will provide you the latest software stored in CD or download link for you to download and setup.
3. Firmware update:
Let's begin with IDS(Ford and Mazda) update: firstly, enter IDS(Ford and Mazda),secondly open the folder stored with update software; thirdly close IDS software; then run IDSPatch.exe in the IDS-License Software; finally, it tells update ok, click exit.
4. Firstly charge Ford VCM main head, secondly connect Ford VCM with your computer, thirdly open the software, it will ask you to update, click "update", then click "OK".
5. Convert service to JLR (Jaguar & Land Rover); secondly close JLR software; thirdly open the folder stored with update software to run JLR License.EXE in the JLR-License Software; finally, update ok, click exit.
Attention:
1. Ensure that the antivirus software is closed before installing the device software
Antivirus software will consider this software as a virus ,which is a mistake because ford vcm ids software have a application file in it. So, before installing the device software ,please turn off the antivirus software,so that the installing process will continue.Our ford vcm ids software is absolutely safe!
If you forget this and the software data is destroyed or lost , do not worry, please contact us and we will send you a new CD or the software by internet.
2. Windows XP is the required computer operation system
Please ensure that you install and run ford vcm ids software under windows XP, or else the device software and program will be destroyed and can not work.
When the installation finish, it’s possible to dismiss the installation CD and restart the system. On the Desktop of your PC the icon of the computer program will appear.
Connect the USB interface to the PC and to wait for the recognition of the device. Start the program.
